UBM appoints Greg Lock as Non Executive Director
United Business Media Limited today announces the appointment of Greg Lock as Non Executive Director. Mr Lock joins the Board on Monday 22 February 2010.
Mr Lock is currently Chairman of Computacenter plc, the IT services business and Chairman of Kofax Plc, the leading provider of document-driven business process automation solutions. He has more than 38 years experience in the software and computer services industry, including four years as Chairman of technology company SurfControl Plc. Mr Lock is also a Non Executive Director of technology companies Liberata and Target Group.
Mr Lock spent 30 years at IBM in a variety of senior roles including General Manager of IBM's Global Industrial sector from 1998 to 2000, a member of IBM's Worldwide Management Council and Governor of the IBM Academy of Technology. During his career at IBM he lived and worked in the United States, France and Germany.
